Year 1 Visit to Tanglewood
Year 1 had a wonderful time at Tanglewood exploring art in nature. After a mini-beast hunt, they enjoyed creating clay mini-beasts, symmetrical butterflies, squirrel birthday cakes from forest materials, and hammer printing. It was a fantastic day full of creativity, exploration, and outdoor learning.

Year 6’s DT Workshop at Wednesfield Academy
Year 6 had a fantastic morning at Wednesfield Academy, taking part in an exciting DT session. First, Year 6 settled into the DT classroom – which was an experience in itself! Trust Football Tournament
What an afternoon we have had! Atter a steady start holding both Goldthorn Park, Tipton Green and Elston Hall to a draw - we were feeling positive. Goals were then our focus. In our third game, which against Pheasey Park we began our hunt for goals! Finley rose to the challenge by scoring 2 amazing goals. We had fantastic defending from Jorgie, our wall that no ball could break. Kaleb, who kept his eyes firmly on the last man, ensured our keeper wasn't under too much pressure

Year 3 'Come Fly With Me: Africa!'
The children had a fantastic day as we began our new topic, "Come Fly With Me: Africa." They showed excellent rhythm skills while playing the djembe drums and enthusiastically took part in a range of call and response games. Year 5 Visit Wednesfield Academy
Year 5 had a great opportunity to visit Wednesfield Academy and take part in two DT lessons. First, we made rockets and watched them fly across the field. Then we went back into the workshops and raced F1 cars created by a laser cutting machine. The children were so impressed by the equipment and activities they can't wait to go back in a few weeks for an afternoon of PE!

Author Visit
Author Rani Virdee-Chahal visited our school to share her new book, The Simple Family, with children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed listening to the story and learning about the inspiration behind the book. The book celebrates the importance of family, love and supporting one another.

Years 3 and 4 Boys Shine at Wolves Tournament!
Our Year 3 and 4 boys have been more than excited to take part in the Tony McGinn football tournament at the Wolves training ground in Compton. After a loss to start with, we then followed up with two draws. Fantastic goals from Tyler-Jai, Oscar and Alex! Our final game was where we really shone! A phenomenal win against Palmers Cross, with Captain Oscar even scoring a hatrick!! What an amazing day, so proud of all our team! Bring on next football season!
