Year 2 had a great time visiting Dudley Zoo as an introduction to their Animals including humans unit. They were able to observe a variety of animals they would not normally be able to see in their local area. They saw giraffe's, a tiger, monkey's, snow leopard's, orangutan's and even got up close to some lemurs. The children absolutely loved trying to spot where the animals were hiding in each enclosure. During their Design and Technology afternoon, Year 4 created some fantastic communication devices. After researching how communication tools have evolved over time, they carefully planned their own designs and then brought them to life using recycled materials.
