Year 4 Visit Pasford Farm
Year 4 enjoyed a wonderful day at the farm, where they challenged themselves, discovered new skills, and connected with the world around them. Many overcame their fears as they met the animals up close, and they learnt just how important healthy soil is in helping our food grow. The visit helped them understand the journey food takes before it reaches our plates, sparking curiosity and thoughtful conversations. To finish the day, each child planted their own sunflower seed —

We had the opportunity to wear colourful Amazonian‑style face paint, which made us look like members of a rainforest tribe. We created our own jewellery inspired by rainforest designs and explored fascinating artefacts that showed how people in the rainforest
