Football Match - Edward the Elder V Corpus Christi

Edward the Elder have taken parted in their first mixed football game of the academic year 2022/2023. A selection of KS2 children were filled with pride to be selected to put on the school football kit and represent their school. After arriving at Corpus Christi Primary School, with the continued support of our fantastic parents, the children were able to take in all the excitement of the occasion. All the children played with real passion. They were able to show a wide variety of skills: attacking, defending, passing, saving goals and above all this teamwork!

Although we unfortunately were unable to take home a win, the game has made the children hungry for more games to come. Well done to all involved and thank you to parents and staff for helping with transport.
