Creating Digital Fact Files in Year 1
Year One had a fantastic day using their Computing skills with Mr Hartley from Engagedu. They created fact files for Michael Jordan and Mother Teresa using Balloon Stickies, Squiggle and Book Creator. We learned all about publishing and how to use a keyboard effectively!

Year 1 Visit to Tanglewood
Year 1 had a wonderful time at Tanglewood exploring art in nature. After a mini-beast hunt, they enjoyed creating clay mini-beasts, symmetrical butterflies, squirrel birthday cakes from forest materials, and hammer printing. It was a fantastic day full of creativity, exploration, and outdoor learning.

Year 6’s DT Workshop at Wednesfield Academy
Year 6 had a fantastic morning at Wednesfield Academy, taking part in an exciting DT session. First, Year 6 settled into the DT classroom – which was an experience in itself! Year 3 'Come Fly With Me: Africa!'
The children had a fantastic day as we began our new topic, "Come Fly With Me: Africa." Year 5 Visit Wednesfield Academy
Year 5 had a great opportunity to visit Wednesfield Academy and take part in two DT lessons. First, we made rockets and watched them fly across the field. Then we went back into the workshops and raced F1 cars created by a laser cutting machine. The children were so impressed by the equipment and activities they can't wait to go back in a few weeks for an afternoon of PE!

Year 5 Raise the Roof at ‘Singing In The Halls'
Year 5 were chosen to be a part of 2,700 pupils who came together to raise the roof of the University of Wolverhampton at The Halls a special concert yesterday morning. 'Singing In The Halls', which was organised by Wolverhampton Music Service, performed at the iconic venue accompanied by a 14-piece band. SATs Complete — Well Done, Year 6!
A huge well done to our Year 6 children for completing their SATs this week! We are incredibly proud of the determination, resilience and positive attitude they showed throughout the tests. The children approached each day with confidence and worked extremely hard — they should all be very proud of themselves. Blue Peter Book Badge Success

A Choc-tastic Day at Cadbury World
Year 5 have had a 'Choc-tastic' day at Cadbury World today. We have explored everything chocolate and loved every second of it. The children have been exploring the journey of the Cocoa bean in our Thematic learning, so Cadbury World was the obvious choice for our Summer term trip. Bikability
We’re really pleased to share that our Year 3 and Year 4 children recently took part in the Bikeability course in Wolverhampton. Year 3 had a great time in the “Learn to Ride” sessions, building their confidence and getting to grips with the basics, while Year 4 completed Level 1, practising control, balance and safe riding skills. It was lovely to see how much their confidence grew over the sessions and how much they enjoyed it too!

RHS Level 3 Gardening Award Achieved!
We are delighted to share that our school has now secured the Level 3 Gardening Award from the Royal Horticultural Society! As part of this fantastic achievement, we have received a £50 garden centre voucher, a selection of seeds, and a wonderful book all about wild gardening. Reception’s Roaring Day Out!
Reception had a ROARsome time on their trip to Hoo Zoo and Dinosaur world last Friday. We saw huge dinosaurs that we had learnt about in our topic 'Jurrasic Park' and enjoyed looking at them in real life! We saw wallabies, wolves, birds, lemurs, farm animals, reptiles, lots of big cats and of course, the famous capybara Cinnamon!

Year 3 Drama Workshop
Year 3 had a fantastic opportunity to work with a drama teacher from Wednesfield Academy. The children worked through a variety of drama exercises to make them aware of the space they occupy and how their body language can convey different meanings for different scenarios. A big focus in this session was about being a good audience! How we listen to performers, how we react and how we give feedback when the performance has finished.

Year 4 Visit Pasford Farm
Year 4 enjoyed a wonderful day at the farm, where they challenged themselves, discovered new skills, and connected with the world around them. Many overcame their fears as they met the animals up close, and they learnt just how important healthy soil is in helping our food grow. The visit helped them understand the journey food takes before it reaches our plates, sparking curiosity and thoughtful conversations. Farm on Wheels in Nursery
Our children had a delightful day when the “Farm on Wheels” visited our nursery class! The children got hands-on experience with a variety of farm animals, learning about their names, sounds, and habits. They explored, touched, and interacted with the animals in a safe and friendly environment. The visit sparked curiosity and excitement, teaching the children about farm life, nature, and the importance of caring for animals.
