Winning is in the air at Edward the Elder! Another amazing evening of sport for both participants and spectators. This time it was Year 4 and Year 5 Footballers leading the way. Our second, and long awaited, league game had finally arrived. This time our opponents were Long Knowle Primary school. After initial shock with the height of some of the opposing players, our boys didn't show any signs of intimidation. Their confidence could be seen set up and clear communication with one another. A disappointing start allowing Long Knowle to score first, was met with two goals of quick succession from our fantastic stickers. And the goals didn't stop there! Two wonder goals from Finely Ellis (who had a fabulous celebration to accompany each goal), and then a hat-trick from our game Captain R'khi Price. To top this off we also had a goal from our dynamic defender Robinvir Singh. A fantastic turn out from all of the team, showing fantastic team spirit! Well done Team Edwards!!
