Year One visit to The Black Country Living Museum

In History Year 1 have been learning about how life in the past compares to life now through our Dimensions theme ‘Royal Patrons’.

We visited The Black Country Living Museum as part of their ‘Little Makers’ programme.

We visited lots of shops and houses, learnt a dance called the jive and even watched a black and white silent film in an old cinema from many years ago!

Our guides taught us all about sounds we may have heard during Victorian times and we are looking forward to them visiting us at school to continue this.

What a fantastic day full of exciting learning
