Jurassic Hunter Inspiration Day!

Year One have enjoyed an exciting start to their thematic topic: Jurassic Hunter.

We have been learning all about Mary Anning and how she found many dinosaur fossils and became the famous palaeontologist she is today.

The children went on fossil hunts around school, learned a famous tongue twister about Mary Anning and listened to dinosaur stories.

They spent their afternoon sketching fossils, freeing dinosaurs from ice, excavating bones from sand and stone and even made their very own salt dough fossil creations!

What a super way to engage little minds!
