Year One Local Area Walk – Moathouse Estate

Year One enjoyed a walk around the local area of Moathouse Estate. Using a map to follow their route, the children identified a range of human and physical features along the way. They explored different signs, street names, and landmarks, developing their understanding of how maps connect to real places.

It was a great opportunity for the children to practise their geographical skills and learn more about their community.
