Visit from the Firefighters!

Year One were very lucky to meet some of the firefighters from Fallings Park.

They showed us around their fire engine, and we even had the chance to sit in the firefighters’ seats! They also demonstrated some of the tools they use when fighting fires and rescuing people.

In class, we learned about the important role firefighters play within our community and the special protective clothing they wear to keep themselves safe.
