World Book Day 2025

For World Book Day we welcomed children's author Sarah Griffiths to school; it was an exciting day for all! Each class got to meet Sarah and take part in a workshop with her; she read a variety of her books across the day. Classes also enjoyed reading for pleasure with a different year group; this is always such a special thing to do. The children were inspired by her books and completed various crafts, writing activities and even shared their own talents linked to her stories. The day culminated with a whole school assembly where the children could share things from the day. Signed copies of her books were also purchased to treasure at home.
