Victory in the Rain!

After two games being cancelled and one rearranged, we finally got to play a league football game in 2026. Thanks to children and parents for being so understanding with the disappointment.

We travelled to Corpus Christi with a strong team of 11 children. As a team we showed our strength right from the back with Jorgie our goalkeeper booting the balls down the to halfway line to give our attackers the best opportunities to get as close to the net as possible. Two strong goals from Finley and a third from our Captain Oliver, super assists from Ryley and Jacob and not to mention a solid defence.

Praise also going out to Moses, Jensen, Jack, Alex, Toby and Oscar a fantastic team effort leading us to our first win of the season.

Great game and a great season from all the children who have played. We finished second in our league for a second year in a row. Well done Team Edwards!
