RHS Level 3 Gardening Award Achieved!

We are delighted to share that our school has now secured the Level 3 Gardening Award from the Royal Horticultural Society!

As part of this fantastic achievement, we have received a £50 garden centre voucher, a selection of seeds, and a wonderful book all about wild gardening. These resources will help us continue to develop our garden and inspire even more outdoor learning.

This success builds on our previous Level 1 and Level 2 awards, and we are incredibly proud of the progress everyone has made. Our next exciting step is to begin working towards Level 4, with the support of our whole school community through our new homework initiative: “Get out and Grow!”

To complete Level 3, we worked hard to meet the following goals:

• Our Leadership Team and local community supported our gardening project

• We developed our practical skills and prepared areas ready for planting

• We successfully grew a range of fruits, vegetables, and flowers

• We encouraged wildlife into our garden by creating homes and habitats

• We reused materials wherever possible and developed our understanding of composting

This award reflects the teamwork, enthusiasm, and care shown by our pupils and staff.
