What a fantastic day Year 5 have had! As part of our Earth and Space topic, we were completely immersed in a spectacular Science Dome experience. Inside the dome, we explored the wonders of our Solar System — journeying past the Moon, Jupiter, Saturn, and learning all about the Apollo missions. We also discovered fascinating facts about asteroids, comets, and meteoroids.
One of the highlights of the day was getting to touch real rocks from the Moon and Mars — an incredible opportunity! We even saw what a sunset would look like if we were standing on Mars.
It was a truly out-of-this-world experience and a brilliant way to bring our learning about Earth and Space to life!
