Year 1 Victorian Day!

Year One transformed their classroom into a Victorian schoolroom as they have been learning all about life in Victorian times. We all came to school in fantastic costumes and paid a penny for our education… just as children would do 100 years ago!

We took part in a handwriting lesson, learned all about school rules and even had a cane and a dunce hat in our classroom.

We learned all about Victorian toys and games and even made our very own peg doll.

What spectacular little historians we are!
