Planet Paint Thematic Unit

In our Year 5 art lessons, we’ve been inspired by our Earth and Space topic to create some truly stunning artwork! We began by painting the Moon and the Sun, before moving on to design and paint our own imaginative planets.

Throughout our work, we have been experimenting with different marks, textures, and techniques, as well as mixing colours to create new shades and tones. We explored how to use both watercolour and poster paints, and even added a touch of glitter to make our creations shine!

Everyone showed wonderful creativity and effort — well done, Year 5!
