Nursery Rhyme Week

Reception took part in Nursery Rhyme week last week and had lots of fun exploring Nursery rhymes which can help to develop early language and literacy skills, numeracy skills, social, physical and emotional skills . They met up on a Teams meeting with the other EYFS classes in the Trust and shared their nominated song, 'Sing A Song Of Sixpence'. They also baked (and ate) fairy cakes, made crowns, put Humpty back together again and most importantly, spent the week exploring rhythm and rhyme in lots of Nursery Rhymes!
