Dudley Zoo Trip!

Year 2 had a great time visiting Dudley Zoo as an introduction to their Animals including humans unit. They were able to observe a variety of animals they would not normally be able to see in their local area. They saw giraffe's, a tiger, monkey's, snow leopard's, orangutan's and even got up close to some lemurs. The children absolutely loved trying to spot where the animals were hiding in each enclosure. After lunch they were able to explore the castle, see seal lions, penguins, meerkats, camels and we ended our day with Santa's good friend the reindeer. It was an absolutely wonderful day and the children all had an amazing time. We had some very tired legs by the end of the day but even the cold did not stop them smiling!!
