Cross Country 30.9.25

On Tuesday 30th September we took two teams of Year 5 and Year 6 children to take part in this years first mixed boys and girls cross country competition at Ford houses Cricket Club. Both teams were full of excitement and anticipation. After a warm-up around the course so that all the children were familiar with where and how far they would have to run, their numbers were pinned to their tops, and the race was ready to commence. 32 teams took part and as always it was run impeccably. Every child from Edward the Elder ran fantastically, not going off too quickly, not having to stop and walk part of the race and all having a little left for a sprint finish. We are so proud of each and every child who took part. We have great times for each child which we will be able to use to work and improve on their scores for the next event. 

As always thanks for the support and cheering on from parents and carers who were able to attend and for ensuring children were ready and able to take part.
