It's great doing experiments. I enjoy thinking about hypotheses! My favourite topics have been 'Forces' and 'States of Matter'. I'm excited about science in year 5 as we will learn about space and I want to be an astrophysicist. Archie Year 4
I love being a science ambassador. I think I am a very good role model as I use the correct science vocabulary like friction, gravity, constellation and orbit. Amelia Year 5
I loved our investigation where we measured height and feet to check if the tallest always had the largest feet. We recorded our results in a tally chart. Mihalis Year 2
Science is so much fun.
I am always finding out new things. We investigated materials to see if they were smooth, rough, hard or soft.
Isabella Year 2
I can't wait to dissect a pig's heart. We record our results in differnt ways - tables, graphs, tally charts.
Shakeree Year 6
Science is important to me because I want to work with animals. Bella Year 6

I enjoyed our winter walk. We looked for signs of the season like trees with no leaves and it was very cold.
Noah Year 1
Year 3

Year 3 investigating light and reflection They found the best reflective material to use to design a book bag for school!
Investigating
friction.

Year 4
Children experimenting making series circuits, seeing if they could form a working circuit to light up a bulb.
Year 5

Year 5 investigated forces by exploring how friction changes with different shoe soles.
Exploring mechanisms.

Learning all about the planets in the Space Dome.

Testing materials and their properties!

Year 6
Year 6 created different circuits. They had some great discussions and were able to identify why some circuits worked and why others didn’t.

Exploring different materials to decide whether they are conductors or insulators!

Children dissected a heart, this helped them to observe the different components and then they discussed the features of these using fantastic scientific vocabulary.
If I work hard in Science, I could become...
