The school council were very lucky as they were invited to visit Wolverhampton's Madam Mayor, Sandra Samuel OBE, on Monday 20th March 2023.
The children were allowed to sit in the Council Chambers and ask Madam Mayor a range of questions, that they had pre-written during their School Council Meetings. They were also allowed to go out onto the balcony so they could see Wolverhampton from a higher viewpoint.
After being treated to some squash and biscuits each school councillor was allowed to hold the ceremonial mace, they needed to be careful as it was heavier than they thought!
A wonderful experience was had by all, thank you to everyone who helped to organise this experience.
