DT has been so much fun. My favourite part was making a circuit to power my pizza van. We created our own brand, presented it to the class, and even made the pizza ourselves!             Year 6   Bella

Year 1

Children designed and made a prototype for a fairy bag. They  explored different tools and equipment to find out how to make the bag stronger.

Children worked in pairs with our visitors from the Black Country Living Museum to create free-standing structures and even used bellows to test their strength and durability.

Year 3

Children in Year 3 have designed, made and evaluated a catapult.  They applied their understanding of how to strengthen more complex structures.

Year 5

Children have researched, designed and made a time-keeping device for an astronaut!

Children used hacksaws, bench hooks and timber to create a prototype bed for a soldier.

Year 6

Children planned, created and pitched their own pizza companies and of course made a pizza!
